Navitas Wins Best New Start Up at South Wales Business Awards

On Friday night Navitas Solutions Group was crowned Best New Start Up of the Year 2025 at the prestigious South Wales Business Awards. Fighting off incredible competition from across the region, this award is a landmark moment for our young company and recognition of the energy and belief that has fuelled Navitas since day one.

The Spark That Started It All

Navitas began trading in 2024 with a clear mission to raise standards in circuit protection and build a brand that electricians could be proud to stand behind. From the very beginning we wanted to challenge the idea that circuit protection should be about cutting corners or racing to the bottom on price. Instead, we set out to create consumer units, RCBOs, RCDs, SPDs and AFDDs that deliver reliability, safety and installer confidence on every job.

Building a Brand Electricians Believe In

What sets Navitas apart is not only the products but the culture we are building around them. Every device is individually tested before it leaves our warehouse in Pencoed. Every board is engineered to make life easier on site. And every conversation we have with electricians and wholesalers feeds back into how we design and improve.

The Torque Up Podcast, led by Navitas ownership, has become a platform for giving the wider electrical industry a voice. By creating space for real conversations between installers, wholesalers and manufacturers, it reflects our belief that raising standards is about community as much as it is about product.

From South Wales to the UK

Navitas is proud to call Pencoed, Bridgend home. In just over a year we have grown from a garage start up into a recognised brand working with more than one hundred independent electrical wholesalers nationwide. Along the way we have become specified on major housing developments, local authority contracts and renewable projects across the UK.

This award proves that a company born in South Wales can take on the biggest names in the industry while staying true to its roots and values.

The Road Ahead

Winning Best New Start Up of the Year is not the finish line. It is the start of something even bigger. We are preparing to:

⚫️ Launch our full three phase commercial range, designed for upgradeability and future proofing

🟢 Expand into an additional unit in Pencoed with a dedicated testing and training facility where we will welcome wholesalers, electricians, apprentices and colleges

⚫️ Continue creating education and content that helps the industry grow, from training sessions to digital learning and industry guidance
